Programme Structure

  • The first year introduces students to the concepts of engineering, other general studies and language subjects.
  • The second year focuses on the fundamentals of engineering in general, and introduces students to accounting and economics.
  • In the third year of study, essential knowledge of transportation systems, such as system analysis, planning, and technical subjects from various engineering disciplines, is covered.
  • During their final year, students take four Core subjects in transportation systems and two Elective subjects on advanced or specialised topics of transportation. Students may choose individual projects that are relevant to transportation systems engineering.

A High School (Graduation) Diploma and any one of the following:

  • ACT: Composite score of 24
  • AP: Grade 3 in 2 AP subjects
  • Redesigned SAT: Total score of 1190
  • SAT: Combined score of 1650, with a sub-score of 8 in essay writing
  • GCE A-level/International A-level: Passes in 3 AL subjects/2 AL and 2 AS subjects
  • IB: A minimum score of 24 with at least grade 4 in 2 Higher Level subjects
