Overview

This Industrial and Systems Engineering program from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals is offered in two options: the summer training option or Internship. Internship program is implemented in many technical universities worldwide. The student usually leaves the school for one or more semesters and joins a relevant industry, where he is exposed to real life applications of what has been taught in the school. This exposure provides the student with a more mature outlook and has a significant effect on his understanding of his role as a practicing engineer.

General requirements

The applicant must be a high school graduate (General, Computer Science and Engineering, Health and Life) or international school graduate (Natural Sciences) in the current year or the previous year.

A minimum SAT score of 1350 is required to apply. Meeting the minimum score does not ensure admission. Admissions are competitive.

SAT scores must be directly sent to King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals from the SAT Test Centre.

An English language proficiency test is mandatory. Applicants should score at least 55 in the STEP test or its equivalent in TOEFL or IELTS.
