Overview

The Chemical Engineering department offers a four-year program which is sufficiently general to prepare the graduate for all phases of the chemical industry, whether in development or research.

The aim of the first two years is to provide the necessary background in physics, chemistry, mathematics, and engineering subjects such as electrical engineering, fluid mechanics, materials science, and chemical engineering. The third and fourth years are taken almost entirely within the department; the curriculum is designed around the core topics of mass, heat and momentum transfer, thermodynamics, reaction kinetics, separation processes, and process control.

The student must be a graduate of the High School or High School course system or a Global Curriculum (Natural Sciences) in the same year in which he is applying for admission or the previous year

The student has never studied at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals or any of the university's community colleges.

Achievement Test (Tahsili) must be clear in the year of admission or the year before.

General Aptitude Test (Qudrat) of scientific disciplines, the student is entitled to use the test result obtained in the year of admission or the previous two years.
