The Interior Architecture and Environmental Design programme from Bilkent University enables students to synthesize knowledge from parallel courses in history, art, technology, drawing and principles of design.
The first two years are intended to develop an understanding of different concepts of design in form, material, space, composition, and introduce the fundamentals of total interior space planning and design.
The third and fourth years provide the opportunity to specialize in different interest areas such as: computers, new materials and technologies, humanities, social sciences, safety, special needs of the handicapped, and elderly etc. Computers and CADD (Computer Aided Design and Drafting) are also integrated into different levels of education.
