Overview

Having started education in 2009, the Atilim University Department of Automotive Engineering offers an academic environment at international standards, with its education in English, a contemporary curriculum and ever-better and ever-developing laboratory opportunities.

In addition to undergraduate degree education, the graduate programme of multi-disciplinary mechanical engineering offers the opportunity for graduate and doctorate degree education automotive engineering.

The mission is to train automotive engineers who are equipped enough to contribute the universal scientific knowledge and technology with the help of industrial and service institutions, and to promote research in this area.

Job Opportunities

Vehicle inspection stations (TÜVTÜRK)

Public institutions such as TCDD, THY, DSI, MSB, TUBITAK, ASELSAN,

Municipalities and many other national and international companies as an engineer or executive.

Our graduates are employed at large-scale companies that operate in Turkey, such as Isuzu, Ford Otosan, Hattat, Honda, Hyundai, Karsan, Man, Mercedes-Benz, Otokar, Renault, Temsa, Tofaş, Toyota, Türk Traktör, Volkswagen (to start operation in 2020). In addition, our graduates have been hired at institutions such as Tübitak, Tai, Aselsan, FNSS, Ministry of National Defence, Tcdd etc. or at supplier industries in Turkey.

Original copy or photocopy of the acceptance letter.

Original passport and photocopy of the passport (Original passport shall be checked and returned to students).

6 Photographs.

Original diplomas, transcripts and their certified translations into Turkish or English.

Original copies of equivalency certificates, if available (High School Equivalency Certificate shall be obtained from the Ministry of National Education by the candidates who are accepted to undergraduate programmes).

Original copy of the internationally recognized English Proficiency Certificates for the candidates accepted to programmes that require English language proficiency (To be certified by Atilim University School of Foreign Languages).

Original copy of the Turkish Proficiency Certificate for the candidates accepted to the programmes that require Turkish language proficiency.

Copies of all bank receipts for deposit payments.
