Overview
Develop legal education including interactive teaching techniques, working in groups, developing student’s critical analysis skills aiming to create a generation of creative graduates with creative abilities who are able to innovate, compete, and have the ability and power to contribute in the attainment of the development objectives for Palestine.
Objectives of the Law program at Birzeit University:
- Enhance scientific research skills through writing legal researches according to the proper legal methodology.
- Qualify students with the minimum legal skills in order to have qualified students to practice the law and legal consulting. Also equipping them with creative skills such as creative thinking, analyzing, criticizing and elicitation.
- Build student’s personalities in a way that enables them to compete, have the ability and power to contribute in finding creative solutions to important problems in the Palestinian society, and achieve development objectives.

General requirements
- Completion of secondary schooling in the country where the student obtained an education
- Pass in six subjects, one of which is High Level and five of which are Standard/Subsidiary Level
- Obtaining a minimum total of 21 points out of 42 points
- Pass points in the High Level are 3-7 and in the Subsidiary Level 2-7 (if a student sits or two subjects or more in the High Level, the additional subject is considered as Subsidiary in the calculation of points and the basis of pass.)
