The department's goal is to develop individuals who possess a professional ethical understanding, are equipped with theoretical knowledge, and have experience in undergraduate psychology research and practice.

The Psychology programme from Atilim University offers elective courses offered by faculty members specializing in various subfields of psychology, allowing each student to take courses tailored to their interests and career goals.

Outcomes

To examine human mental, emotional and behavioral processes within a scientific discipline and to have a general understanding of basic psychological perspectives.

To have knowledge about the historical and philosophical development of psychology, basic concepts, theory and application schools, and basic theory and application areas of sub-branches such as clinical, experimental, social, developmental, industrial, health, traffic and educational psychology.

Acquiring the ability to detect, define, formulate and solve basic problems related to people's mental and emotional processes and behaviors.

Developing new ideas from an analytical, critical and creative perspective using abstract concepts and acquiring the ability to evaluate different psychological phenomena.

Original passport and photocopy of the passport (Original passport shall be checked and returned to students).

6 Photographs.

Original diplomas, transcripts and their certified translations into Turkish or English.

Original copies of equivalency certificates, if available (High School Equivalency Certificate shall be obtained from the Ministry of National Education by the candidates who are accepted to undergraduate programmes).

Original copy of the internationally recognized English Proficiency Certificates for the candidates accepted to programmes that require English language proficiency (To be certified by Atilim University School of Foreign Languages).

Original copy of the Turkish Proficiency Certificate for the candidates accepted to the programmes that require Turkish language proficiency.

Copies of all bank receipts for deposit payments.
