Program Aims

In addition to providing students with theoretical and scientific backgrounds based on fundamental sciences and numerical methods, the Electrical and Electronics Engineering program of the Istanbul Bilgi University is also designed to furnish them with the necessary skills to use technological hardware and software in solving engineering problems and implementing practical applications.

Our aim is to ensure that our students are equipped with the ability and self-confidence to adapt themselves to the newly emerging technologies while keeping pace with trends in change, transformation and development.

Electrical and Electronics Department of İstanbul Bilgi University also distinguishes itself with its unique location in the Silahtarağa factory buildings of the santralistanbul Campus, which are the former home of the first electrical power plant in the country. It would be a challenge to be trained in this historical location, which was the birth-place of the profession, is a remarkable opportunity which will boost the motivation and inspiration of the electrical and electronics engineers of the future.

  • The applicant should fill in the online application form (a hardcopy can be obtained by email upon request).
  • Photocopy of high school diploma (with the official transcript).
  • All High school Transcripts/Grades (last 4 high school years).
  • Passport photocopy.
  • 2 photographs.
  • Blue Card and Certificate of Identity Register Copy.
  • If available, a record of scores for one English Language Competency Examinations (for example TOEFL or Cambridge Certificate).
