To this end, a first aim is to give our students a solid foundation on which they can build their engineering education and be in a position to adapt and develop their professional skills and follow the most recent developments in a competitive and ever changing technological environment.

The educational goals of our Computer Engineering Program at the Istanbul Bilgi University can thus be summarized as follows: 

  • Endow our students with all the skills and knowledge that are necessary to pursue a succesful career in the area of information technologies, by working at national or international industrial and academic institutions.
  • Provide exceptional education and training in order to prepare our graduate students to serve and contribute to the economy, the academia and society at large through the generation of innovative ideas.

Programme Structure

  • A second aim of the Program is to prepare our students to become innovative contributors, capable of creating through the art of computer engineering sustainable solutions to problems facing mankind in the fields of economy and society at large. 
  • Our students will be able to occupy leadership positions in their national or international careers, endowed with a sense of entrepreneurship and responsibility as well as attached to the ethical values of their profession.

English Language Requirements

  • Minimum required score:

    The TOEFL iBT ® measures your English-language abilities in an academic setting. The test has four sections (reading, listening, speaking, and writing), each with a score range of 0-30, for a total score range of 0-120.

    The TOEFL®PBT is administered in a paper format and measures your ability to use and understand English in a classroom setting at the college or university level. It accurately measures how well you can listen, read and write in English while performing academic tasks.

  • The applicant should fill in the online application form (a hardcopy can be obtained by email upon request)
  • The applicant should upload required documents to the online application form. 
  • Photocopy of high school diploma (with the official transcript)
  • All High school Transcripts/Grades (last 4 high school years)
  • Passport photocopy
  • 2 photographs
  • Blue Card and Certificate of Identity Register Copy
  • If available, a record of scores for one English Language Competency Examinations (for example TOEFL or Cambridge Certificate)
