Overview

Business Computing programme from Technological University Dublin combines computer studies, particularly software development, with business subjects. On graduating, you’ll combine technical, business and interpersonal skills regarded as being important to industry, and that are in constant demand by employers.

The programme

The technical skills include a high level of proficiency in Object-Oriented Software Development through Java and Ruby. The Interpersonal Skills, Communication Skills and the Project Management modules along with a work placement will develop your personal effectiveness in the workplace, while business and information systems topics provide a framework for workplace effectiveness. In Year 3, you can choose to go on a work placement or an Erasmus exchange.

On graduating, you may proceed to postgraduate studies leading to the award of MSc, MPhil or PhD at research institutes and universities worldwide.
