Career
The profession of a mechanical engineer is universal – it is difficult to find an area where competencies mechanical engineering is not required. The graduates of the Mechanical Engineering programme from Kaunas University of Technology are employed by the companies of machinery and tools industries, road transport and aerospace companies, industries of chemicals and food, wood and textiles other industries.
You will have the competences to:
- To design different machinery, devices, robotized and automated systems
- To plan, organize and control production processes;
- To analyse problematic areas of facilities management and adapt modern modelling software for increase of efficiency of processes;
- to implement modern technical control algorithms based on computer modeling programs

- Maximum 3 years after high school graduation is eligible.
- Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
- The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Russian.
- The documents must be legalised (Apostille) by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where the documents were issued. This requirement does not apply for the documents issued in the EU and Belarus, Ukraine.
