Overview
Mechanical engineering remains a driving force in today’s industry and technological progress. The Mechanical Engineering programme provides students with the knowledge and skills required for machine design, manufacturing systems, robotics, and intelligent technologies. A wide range of study pathways are available, including specialising in mechanical design or robotics, spending an international semester at a partner university, or undertaking an extended internship. Students can also obtain an internationally recognised Dassault Systèmes certificate to prove their technical expertise. Graduates are ready to pursue careers in manufacturing, automation, or robotics, or to continue their studies on a postgraduate level.

The Mechanical Engineering programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical engineering experience. It has two main parts: core studies in mechanical engineering and studies within a chosen pathway. Students gain:
- a foundation in mathematics, physics and materials science;
- Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) skills, including 3D modelling and analysis using SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor, as well as CNC machining;
- engineering experience through an internship project based on real assignments.
In Year 3, students begin studies in their selected pathway.
