Overview

After successfully completing your MUPC, you will gain direct entry into the first year of your chosen undergraduate degree at Murdoch University.

MUPC is suited to you if:

You need an entrance qualification for Murdoch University
You want to accelerate your university preparation from either Year 11, Year 12 or equivalent
You want to change your degree stream without having to repeat Year 11 or Year 12

Pathways to any Degree

On completion of your MUPC, you’ll gain entry to first year of any undergraduate degree at Murdoch University, with the exception of a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. This course can be accessed through a Bachelor of Animal Science.

With three intakes per year and a range of subjects on offer, you have the control of tailoring your study the way you want. Speed up your completion or take on a lighter course load without slowing down your course duration.

Recognition of Prior Learning

The MUPC requires completion of a total of six units. National principles of Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL) are applied to give appropriate credit and exemption for units. This avoids unnecessary duplication of study and allows those who have previously undertaken tertiary entrance studies and examinations, or mature age students, to be given up to three credits and exemptions. Prospective students should discuss their potential RPL with academic staff at the time of enrolment.
