Key facts

The Electrical and Electronics Engineering program at Yeditepe University is carefully structured to provide breadth and depth in theoretical foundation, design skills and application aspects of circuits and systems, electronics, signal processing, power, electromagnetics, communications, control and robotics.

The programme

Freshman and sophomore years cover basic education in mathematics, physics, statistics and engineering, including algorithms and programming for computers. The fundamentals of electrical and electronics engineering such as electrical and electronic circuits, electromagnetic fields and waves, and signals and systems are also offered at the sophomore level. The background in basic electrical and electronics engineering is completed at the junior level: areas of study include, electrical and electronic circuits and systems, digital systems, communication systems, power and control systems and microprocessors.

Senior students prepare an engineering project using their creativity, knowledge, motivation and current technological advances. In the senior year, a wide range of advanced topics for specialization is offered in addition to a number of core courses on industrial electronics, microwaves, antennas and propagation.
