The department also offers a wide range of courses in media practice. Courses in writing, directing, camera, lighting techniques, and editing prepare students to produce their own projects in all related areas.

Students who fulfill the requirements are also encouraged to participate in internship program, which offers experience in professional working environments through the city.

The capacity of the Radio Television and Cinema program offered at Yeditepe University for each year is limited to 75 new comers and offers scholarship to 15 students among them.
