Key facts

The Turkish Language and Literature Teaching program offered at Yeditepe University strives for the development of excellent reading, writing, and speaking skills in Turkish by providing our students with opportunities to conduct research, and through experiential teaching. The program correspondingly seeks to encourage students in the development and dissemination of their original research.

The program consists of courses including methodological and pedagogical approaches to Turkish Language teaching. Additionally, students are provided with hands-on experience by student-teaching, resulting in a well-balanced blend of theory and practice throughout the program. Students are provided with opportunities to pursue their individual interests in various cultural and professional topics through a variety of elective courses.
