University College Utrecht offers you the opportunity to follow an English-language undergraduate Liberal Arts & Sciences degree programme. This University College Utrecht - Liberal Arts and Sciences honours programme is designed for curious and driven students who are looking to be challenged. You will have complete freedom to design your own curriculum from over 200 different classes in humanities, naturals sciences, and social science. Your personal tutor will help guide and advise you in constructing a curriculum in line with your interests, talents, and future goals. The three main academic domains offered are the Humanities, such as history, language and culture, the Social Sciences, such as political science, psychology and economics, and the Sciences, such as medical science, mathematics and chemistry.

Programme Structure

Courses included

University College Utrecht offers a programme in the liberal arts and sciences, with more than 220 courses each year in three main domains, the social sciences, humanities and sciences. The academic disciplines on offer range from History, Philosophy and Religious Studies, to Economics, Law and Psychology and Medical Science, Cognitive Neuroscience and Sustainability Science.
With the guidance of their tutors, students have the freedom to explore the disciplines they are interested in and develop expertise in 2 to 3 fields. The study culminates in a research thesis based on the expertise the student has developed. No two students have the same curriculum, allowing for a high degree of customisation.
