Overview

The Architecture programme at MEF University approaches design ’as a service to the community’ and this reflects in our curriculum. Beyond these local strengths and engagement, our students can also take part in a global experience of architectural practice and education through the Erasmus programme, either as a student in our partner schools; or as an intern in various design offices around the world.

Additionally being located in one of the world cities, Istanbul, offers us an amazing urban laboratory to work with, experiencing and discussing all its layers, potentials as well as its problems.

Graduate Profile

Architecture graduates will be taking an education, which will enable them to create solutions for today’s problems. These skills will enable them to find jobs in existing global firms or they will be able to establish their own companies to re-establish tomorrow’s architectural praxis. Within this perspective, they can be hired in the fields of architecture, urban design, energy efficient building elements and efficient construction systems.
