Mechanical Engineering MEF University

Overview

The Mechanical Engineering programme at MEF University identified the following list of educational objectives for the undergraduate programme, which describes the vision for what the students will be achieving in their careers within a few years after graduation: (i) Apply their technical knowledge and skills in the practice of traditional and emerging areas of mechanical engineering contributing to various technical services with creativity and imagination, or conduct interdisciplinary research via graduate study; (ii) Engage in life-long learning through the successful completion of advanced degree (s), professional development and certificate programmes; (iii) Show leadership with their professional and ethical responsibility, communication and organizational skills.

Graduate Profiles

Graduates with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering can pursue careers as mechanical engineers, design engineers, manufacturing engineers, project engineers, quality engineers, R&D engineers, consulting engineers, sales engineers, academics or researchers, or entrepreneurs.

Accreditation

The program has been prepared to satisfy ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) and ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education).  It also satisfies the national criteria of MÜDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs).
