Financial Services Bachelor's Degree Highlights

Cultivate “people” skills. Knowing how to communicate and work with clients is integral to financial services. UToledo fosters these skills with a required sales class. Undergrads also have chances to develop relationships with business professionals inside and outside the classroom.

State-of-the-art trading room. UT offers interactive courses in the John B. and Lillian E. Neff Trading Room. It’s one of only 30 facilities in the country offering students live and delayed stock exchange feeds from worldwide stock markets.

Manage a $2 million portfolio. Financial services majors in the Student Managed Portfolio class manage investments for the UT Foundation. Students become financial analysts and portfolio managers. They research, invest, prepare quarterly reports and present to the board of the UT Foundation’s investment committee.
