Many of our graduates from this BSc in Environmental Science program at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology are engaged in higher studies or employed by local environmental non-governmental organizations (NGOs), consultancies and government agencies.

To tackle environmental problems and achieve sustainable development in Hong Kong and the region, there is a great need for Hong Kong to train more environmental scientists who can use their expertise to contribute in relevant sectors, which include but not limited to the followings:

Government departments (Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, Environmental Protection Department)
Environmental consultancies (environmental impact assessments, natural resource management)
