The graduate must know how to identify and anticipate opportunities, allocate resources, organize information, select and motivate people, make decisions, achieve proposed objectives and evaluate results.
The objectives of the Degree in Business Management at Rey Juan Carlos University are defined taking into account the characteristics and evolution of economic and business activity in an increasingly globalized environment, of rapid transformation and with greater demands for competitiveness and sustainability. The general training objectives are:
- Know the nature of the company and its relationship with the immediate and mediate economic environment, national and international;
- Learn methods and techniques of business management and organization;
- Acquire instrumental knowledge in mathematics and statistics.
Where will I be qualified to work upon graduation?
The labor market in the area of business administration and management is strongly influenced by the creation of companies, internationalization, innovation and technological change, and new forms of work organization. Thus, the different professional profiles offered by the degree are:
- Departments of companies/organizations: financial, commercial, management control, marketing, market research, information technology, international trade, purchasing, quality, R&D&i, human resources.
- Financial services: auditing, consulting and advice, stock market, financial entities, selection companies, insurance, marketing, advertising, research institutes, distribution, tourism, health.
- Industrial sector: food, beverages, chemicals, steel, pharmaceuticals, automotive, paper, cement, publishing, cosmetics, textiles.
- Infrastructure sector: technology, transport, telephone, energy, logistics, construction.
- Public administration: international, European, state and regional.
- Teaching (both in secondary education and at the University and in postgraduate studies) and research.
- Free exercise of the profession.
