Overview
This Educational Practice course from University of Bedfordshire is designed specifically to suit your existing work commitments, it builds on the experience you have already gained in the classroom to combine academic theory and understanding of best practice.
It can provide a route to a teaching qualification – on completion you have the opportunity to join the BA Applied Education Studies course, after which you may choose to progress to Primary PGCE/Schools Direct/ SCITT programmes to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

- A Foundation Degree will be of particular interest if you have completed a Modern Apprenticeship, vocational A levels, BTEC National or equivalent.
- Foundation Degrees are also particularly suitable if you want to qualify while working.
- As a guideline, a typical offer would require you to obtain a UCAS tariff score of between 32-48 points, based on your level 3 studies.
