Description
The University of Winnipeg automatically offers International Special Entrance Scholarships to new international students entering studies at UWinnipeg following graduation from a high school outside of Canada.

Scholarship Values:
85.0-89.9% - $1,000
90.0-94.9% - $2,000
95.0%+ - $3,000
NOTE: The Financial Aid and Awards office will apply the total amount of your scholarship to your tuition account in your first term of study. Scholarship recipients must register for and maintain a full-time course load to receive an entrance scholarship. The university reserves the right to recoup all or a portion of the scholarship should you fall below full-time registration during the academic year.
Eligibility
- Minimum 85% grade average from grade 12 (converted to Canadian grading scale).
- Not have attended any other post-secondary institute previously.
- Submit application no more than 6 months after high school graduation.
- Submit a completed application, fees, and all supporting documents before award eligibility deadline.
