Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarships offer funding awards to international students across undergraduate and postgraduate taught levels of study.

The scholarship offers a £5,000 amount, to help you with your studies

Eligibility

  • Students from Bangladesh, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Nigeria and Pakistan when defined as being domiciled in one of these countries in your course application.
  • Students domiciled in China are not eligible for Postgraduate awards under this scheme. Domicile is defined as where you have been ordinarily resident for a three-year period or longer before the start of the course. 
  • Future requests for further funding will not be considered under this scheme.
  • Applicants who are in receipt of any other scholarship, bursary, funding or discount will not be eligible for this Scholarship.
  • The Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship is available for full-time and Cardiff campus based programmes only.
  • You must be confirmed as an Overseas Student for fee paying purposes
  • The Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship is only available to self-funded students.

You must submit your application through UCAS by 30 June and if you meet, or exceed, the conditions stated in your UCAS offer, or, if you are initially awarded an unconditional offer, you will automatically be granted the scholarship as a tuition fee discount.
