Description

The Evangelical Student Association Villigst offers scholarships to students with European citizenship (+ Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland) or refugee status. Prerequisites are a strong social commitment and good academic performance. The scholarship is paid monthly for the entire duration of the studies (incl. stay abroad).

Benefits

The financial support is based on the BAföG and includes up to 744€ per month plus a 300€ flat-rate tuition fee. 

The scholarship is transferred monthly. The student is supported during his bachelor's degree and also during a subsequent master's degree.

Eligibility

  • Scholarships available for students with EU citizenship (+ Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland) or with refugee status.
  • At the time of application, you must not have completed your 3rd semester yet, or obtained a higher education degree.
  • C1-Level in German (when not mother tongue).
  • Voluntary commitment (e.g. in church, politics, society...).
  • Good academic performance.
  • Be a member of a Protestant church (if not, a motivation letter is required).
  • You have or will soon receive a valid university entrance qualification.
  • Your (planned) course of study is a classroom and full-time course of study at a state or state-recognized university. We do not support part-time courses of study, distance learning courses of study, dual or training-integrated courses of study.
