Description
The Twenty Club of Ypsilanti established the R. Clyde Ford Memorial Scholarship in honor of one of its members. Dr. Ford was a member of the Michigan State Normal College faculty from 1903 to 1940. He was Head of the Department of Modern Language from 1903 to 1940 as well as a classical scholar, a friend of students, and a leader of the faculty.
Benefits
The desire of the Twenty Club was that the earnings of the fund, after the principle reached $1,000, be available for scholarships to students in the Modern Language Department.
