The Edmund and Marjorie Galant Endowed Award was established in 2006 by Dr. Richard Galant in honor of Edmund ’40 and Marjorie Galant ‘41.

Eligibility

  • Income from the endowment will be used to support a renewable award for a junior or senior admitted to the secondary education program in the Department of Teacher and Special Educa­tion.
  • First preference should be given to students who are residents of Kent or Washtenaw counties but may be awarded to any qualified resident in the State of Michigan.
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA.
