Description
The Merle And Brian Sepel Memorial Dance Scholarship was established in memory of Dance Professor Merle Sepel by her husband and her parents to help enable financially disadvantaged students to pursue a dance career.

Eligibility
This scholarship is open to students who meet the following criteria:
- Dance major student
- Incoming or continuing undergraduate student
- Full-time enrollment at CSUF
- Good academic standing
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Demonstrated financial need by filing the 2026–27 FAFSA or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA)
Criteria - Applicants will be evaluated based on:
- Demonstrated dance talent
- Commitment to a career in dance
- Financial need
- Academic standing (minimum 2.5 GPA)
