Decisions awarding assistance and determining the form and amount of aid are made after careful evaluation of all applications by the History Department’s Merit and Scholarship Committee.
The variations in the amount of money available each semester or summer and in the number and merit of applications make it impossible to specify how many awards might be made for any semester.
The person(s) so honored will receive a scholarship that must be applied to educational expenses such as tuition, books or other material used in coursework, or research or travel expenses.
All applicants will be notified as soon as possible of the Committee’s decisions.
