Description
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship is available to international transfer students, enrolling in any course within the university.

Eligibility
Applicants should:
- Be enrolled as a degree-seeking student in a college or university after graduating from high school.
- Have completed or are in the process of completing calculus and at least two laboratory sciences at the time of application.
- Be in good academic and disciplinary standing at your current college.
- Successful transfer applicants have typically completed at least one full year of college (after high school) by the time they enroll at WPI.
- In addition to what's listed in the Application Requirements section, international (non-citizen) transfer applicants must provide:
- English translations and course-by-course credit evaluations (from a current NACES member) for all non-US transcripts.
- Proof of English language proficiency, which may be demonstrated by means of TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test (this requirement may be waived if college coursework is conducted in English).
- WPI's recommended TOEFL score is 90 with no subscore under 20.
- WPI's recommended IELTS score is 7.0 with no subscore under 6.5.
- WPI's recommended Duolingo English Test score is 125.
- All international applicants should complete and submit WPI’s Certification of Finances Form (www.wpi.edu/+cof) demonstrating their ability to pay the full cost of attendance. This form is required only for students accepted to the university and who will enroll. Please note that WPI does not offer any financial aid for international (non U.S. citizen) transfer students.

Please be sure to provide a resume as part of your application, or a list of all work-related experiences, post-secondary extracurricular activities and/or community involvement, and/or awards and achievements. Be sure to discuss your goals in transferring to WPI in your personal essay.
