Description
The UTS Foundation Studies Scholarship is to be offered to international students who exhibit the University’s core values and can demonstrate commitment to excellence, innovation, entrepreneurship and social justice.
Benefits
Scholarships are valued at $4,000 or $8,000 in tuition fee waivers. Places are limited and eligibility criteria and conditions apply.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be international students (these scholarships are not available to Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens, or permanent residents of Australia).
- Applicants must meet the entry requirements for entry into UTS Foundation Studies and the academic requirements for scholarship eligibility.
To maintain eligibility, students must:
- not fail any subjects in any semester of their course (eg obtain a final mark above 50% for each subject)
- maintain satisfactory attendance of the course each semeter in accordance with the recipient’s Australian visa conditions and requirements
- maintain a Full-Time Study Load during all semesters
- be enrolled in the relevant course before the enrolment deadline; and
- once enrolled, not subsequently defer their enrolment in the course or un-enrol in the course.
