  • The Program is open to prospective undergraduate students of all backgrounds who plan to pursue doctoral study (Ph.D. or MD-PhD) in the sciences or engineering and who are interested in the advancement of minorities in those fields.

To begin the application process, students should first complete and submit the UMBC CommonApp. Five to seven business days after submission of the CommonApp, applicants will receive UMBC credentials (user name and password) allowing them to access the Meyerhoff Application in UMBC Scholarship Retriever.
