Description
The Maryland Transfer Scholarship provides partial-tuition awards ranging from $5,000 distributed equally over two semesters to $10,000 distributed equally over four consecutive semesters.

Benefits
The Maryland Transfer Scholarship shall not exceed $5,000 for one year (non-renewable) or $5,000 for each of the first two years, consistent with the information contained in the student's award letter.
Eligibility
Recipients of this scholarship must:
- submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA),
- demonstrate financial need as defined by the Department of Education,
- register for a minimum of 12 credits per semester,
- maintain a minimum 3.20 cumulative grade point average (GPA), and
- successfully complete 30 credits per academic year.
- The student should average 15 credits per semester over the fall and spring semesters to meet the 30 credit requirements.
