Description

The Ernest Hecht Charitable Foundation Scholarship aims to provide scholarships to enable UK domiciled students to pursue an undergraduate degree at UCL.

Applicable programmes

Benefits

The award provides £15,000 per year for a three year undergraduate programme and is subject to satisfactory academic progress.

The award can be applied to cover tuition fees or maintenance costs depending on the awardee's preference.

If a student on a four year undergraduate programme receives this award, payments will be made pro rata, i.e. they will receive £11,250 for each of their four years of study.

Eligibility

  • The criterion for awarding the bursary is financial need and you will need to demonstrate this in the application.

Eligible candidates must:

  • Be domiciled in the UK with Home fee status;
  • Be from a disadvantaged background;
  • Hold an offer of admission to UCL to study a full-time undergraduate degree
