University of York can support you financially if you are admitted to one of its study programmes as an international student.

University of York awards scholarships, bursaries, tuition fee reductions and discounts that help you cover existing tuition and living costs.

Eligibility

  • Open to students from India only.

To be eligible for the India Undergraduate Global Opportunities Scholarship you must:

  • have a conditional or unconditional offer to study at the University of York by 30 June
  • be paying fees at the overseas fee rate (any fee assessments must be completed by 30 June) 
  • intend to study a full-time undergraduate course.

You will not be eligible if:

  • you hold a 100% tuition fee scholarship or are fully sponsored.

Students on the following pathways are not eligible for these scholarships:

  • Hull York Medical School
  • International Pathway College
  • Distance and online learning courses
  • Part-time courses
  • Kaplan International College London
