Description
Established through a bequest from David Ensor, the awards form part of the Wardlaw Scholarship scheme for academically gifted students who would otherwise struggle with university costs.
Benefits
£4,400 paid as maintenance but can be used towards University accommodation fees.
Eligibility
- Selection is based on financial need and donor-specific criteria.
- Please note that as the Wardlaw scholarships are donor-funded, core personal details may be passed to the benefactors of your scholarship with your permission. This permission is requested in the application form. If you select that you do not wish to be considered for donor funding, you will only be considered for the St Andrews Access Award.
- Please refer to the Financial Funding Tool for advice on how to calculate your household income and the types of supporting evidence we require you to upload.
- If you are care experienced and unable to provide household evidence, please upload a document that states this. You do not need to upload evidence of your care experience, if this has already been provided to Admissions.
