The award helps eligible students access the technology needed to participate fully in their university studies and experiences.

A one off payment of £750.

Eligibility

You must meet all of the following criteria to be considered for a scholarship:

  • Be studying in Year 0 or Year 1 of a full-time undergraduate degree programme at the University of Liverpool.
  • Be studying a programme within the University of Liverpool's School of Computer Science and Informatics
  • Have been assessed for fee status as a ‘Home’ student
  • Have made an application to Student finance and be receiving both the Tuition Fee Loan and Maintenance Loan

Meet at least one of the below widening participation criteria:

  • Have participated in a university supported access scheme such as Liverpool Scholars, Pathways or Realising Opportunities.
  • Have been in receipt of, or entitled to discretionary payments/16-19 bursary/pupil premium/free school meals while at school or college
  • Have received a contextual offer at the University of Liverpool
  • Fall into one of the following student groups: care experiences, estranged, young adult carer, refugee, asylum seeker
  • Have a household income of less than £25,000 per year
  • Come from a home where neither parent attended university in the UK or abroad.
