The Douglas Johnson Scholarship aims to support UK domiciled students in financial need to pursue an undergraduate degree in the department of History at UCL.
The award provides £25,000 per year for a three year undergraduate programme and is subject to satisfactory academic progress.
The award will be applied to cover tuition fees in the first instance, with remainder payable as maintenance.
If a student on a four year undergraduate programme receives this award, payments will be made pro rata, i.e. they will receive £18,750 for each of their four years of study.
- The criterion for awarding the scholarship is financial need and you will need to demonstrate this in the application.
Eligible candidates must:
- Be domiciled in the UK with Home fee status;
- Be in financial need
- Hold an offer of admission to UCL to study a full-time undergraduate degree in the department of History (including joint honours degree)
