Eligibility
- LSE Discretionary Bursaries are available to Home fee status students with exceptional financial need.
- You must have applied for all statutory support available to you from Student Finance to be considered for an LSE Discretionary Bursary. If you are already entitled to the maximum value LSE Bursary we are unable to award an LSE Discretionary Bursary.
- LSE Discretionary Bursaries are awarded in exceptional circumstances. This might include for example, caring responsibilities, financial need related to disability, etc.

Once you have an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional) to attend LSE, you should submit the following:
LSE Undergraduate Scholarship Application Form
- One academic reference - this can be sent by you together with your scholarship application, or it can be sent to us separately by your referee
- Supporting documents - this will vary dependent on the information you have provided; further guidance can be found in the scholarship application form
- Applicants who follow the process above will be considered against the eligibility requirements for all scholarships
