Description
BP Widening Participation Scholarships are designated for the Departments of Chemical Engineering, Earth Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
Benefits
Bursary of £9,500 per annum, up to 4 years.
Eligibility
To be eligible, candidates must have attained the conditions below by Friday 29 May:
- Have an offer of admissions from the Imperial College London to study a three-year or four-year full-time undergraduate course from the Departments of Chemical Engineering, Earth Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering starting in autumn 2026;
- Possess a Home fee status;
- Qualify for the university's contextual admissions route.

To apply for this scholarship, applicants need to complete the following steps by the deadline of 11:59 pm (UK local time) Friday 29 May:
Submit a UCAS application form for your course of study from the four Departments in the Faculty of Engineering and have an offer of admissions; and
Complete the scholarship application form (The application form is for both BP Widening Participation Scholarships and Kentfield Scholarship. Personal statement is required for this application, please refer to the instructions on the form.)
