Description
The bursary is designed to help eligible medical students with living costs during their studies. It is available to UK (Home) students, including graduate entrants and intercalating students, whose residual household income is below £35,000.
The award is provided as an accommodation discount for students living in university-managed accommodation or as a cash payment for those living elsewhere. Students do not need to submit a separate bursary application but must allow their financial information to be shared with the University through Student Finance.

Applicants must:
- Be a UK (Home fee status) student.
- Be enrolled on the MB BS Medicine programme at Hull York Medical School.
- Have a residual household income below £35,000.
