The Equity Awards provide a package of intentional support, designed to help to level the playing field for students of colour.

Benefits

£3,000 for each year of study on your undergraduate programme at Goldsmiths

Eligibility

You must meet the general eligibility criteria and regulations. You must also: 

  • Be eligible for Home fees and have enrolled for the first or foundation year of undergraduate study at Goldsmiths in autumn.
  • Have one of the following categories of ethnicity:
    • Black / African / Caribbean / Black British
    • African
    • Caribbean
    • Any other Black / African / Caribbean background
    • Any other Mixed / Multiple ethnic background
    • Asian / Asian British
    • Indian
    • Pakistani
    • Bangladeshi
    • Chinese
    • Any other Asian background
    • Mixed / Multiple ethnic groups
    • White and Black Caribbean
    • White and Black African
    • White and Asian
    • Other ethnic group
    • Gypsy or Irish Traveller
    • Arab
  • Have a household income of under £40,000 per year, which will be evidenced via your application to the Student Loans Company.
  • Be taught in person.
