Description
Care Experienced and Estranged Students Bursary offers an award for each year of study on your undergraduate or PGCE programme.
Benefits
£1,000 for each year of study on your undergraduate programme, or £1,000 for one year of your PGCE programme at Goldsmiths
Eligibility
You will need to meet one of the following criteria:
- Have been in Local Authority care in the UK
- Have been in kinship care in the UK at some point in your life up to the age of 18
- Have been estranged from your parents or legal guardians (and under 25 at the start of the programme)
- Be an unaccompanied asylum-seeking child
You will need to provide evidence of your status either by providing a letter from Student Finance or a letter from your Local Authority.
You will also need to be a hold an offer for one of our undergraduate or PGCE programmes. Your programme must be taught in person.
