Description
The Care Leavers Bursary is available to full-time undergraduate and postgraduate taught students who have previously been in local authority care.
In addition to the bursary, recipients are nominated for a graduation package covering the cost of academic dress hire and a graduation photo package.

Eligibility
- Must be a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught student.
- Must be under 25 when starting the course.
- Must have Home (UK) fee status.
- Students who have been adopted are not eligible.
Must be a care leaver, meaning:
- spent at least 13 weeks in local authority care before the age of 14; and
- did not reconcile with their parents between leaving care and starting university.

Eligible students should contact the Together at Cardiff support team after enrolment or disclose their care-experienced status through UCAS or during enrolment. The University will then assess eligibility and arrange the bursary.
