Description

The Cardiff University Bursary is available to eligible full-time undergraduate students who qualify for UK student funding for living costs and come from lower-income households.

The bursary is paid as a cash award and is available in addition to government-funded maintenance loans and grants. Students are reassessed each academic year and may continue to receive the bursary if they remain eligible.

Benefits

£500 per academic year.

A further £500 each year of study if the student continues to meet the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility

  • Must be a full-time undergraduate student.
  • Must qualify for UK student funding for living costs.
  • Must have a household income of £35,000 or less.
  • Must be paying tuition fees of at least £6,000.
  • Must consent to share household income information with Cardiff University through the relevant UK student funding body.
