Description
Professor Derek Reid established the Robert Reid Award in memory of his late father. The awards have provided over £15,000-worth of financing to students over the years.
Benefits
Two one-year bursaries of £1,000 each available to students who have overcome challenges to attend university.
Eligibility
You must meet the following criteria:
- Have a permanent Scottish address.
- Be eligible for the Young Student Bursary from SAAS or be over 25 (at the start of your course).
- Be committed to successfully obtaining your degree qualification.

Please attach the following when you make your application:
Two references in support of your application – Personal and Academic.
Letter of Student Support Award (i.e. SAAS award letter for 25-26).
