Description
All Academic Excellence Scholarships are applicable only for 2026 intakes, with Academic Certificate validity of 2 years prior to joining Sunway University.
Benefits
The scholarship offers an amount of either RM 6,000 or RM 11,000 depending on academic results.
Eligibility
- The scholarship is offered strictly to full-time students at Sunway University/ Sunway College.
- Applicants holding recognized secondary school qualifications from eligible countries may be considered for scholarships based on academic performance.
RM6,000 Scholarship: Typically awarded to students who achieve strong academic results, generally equivalent to:
- 75–85% average in national secondary school examinations, or
- CGPA/GPA of approximately 3.4-4.0 (depending on the qualification system), or
- Grades such as BBB, BBC, ACC, or ABC in A-Level or equivalent qualifications.
RM11,000 Scholarship: Typically awarded to students who achieve outstanding academic results, generally equivalent to:
- 85–95% average in national secondary school examinations, or
- CGPA/GPA of approximately 3.8-4.5 (depending on the qualification system), or
- Grades such as AAA, AAB, ABB, or AAC in A-Level or equivalent qualifications.

Degree Programme (A period of 2 weeks after first day of class)
A copy of the Scholarship Offer Letter will be sent to the student's iMail account
Scholarship Deduction:
Pre-University (2nd semester onwards)
Degree Programme (1st semester onwards)
Application deadline: Two (2) weeks after commencement of programmes OR two (2) weeks after the release of actual results.
