Description

The Serum Institute Pathways to Excellence in Health and Life Sciences Programme offers a prestigious scholarship for international students pursuing STEM degrees at the University of Westminster. This scholarship supports academic excellence and aims to empower future leaders in global health and life sciences by removing financial barriers and providing comprehensive funding.

Benefits

Full tuition fee waiver for the standard duration of the course

£15,000 per year to support accommodation and daily living expenses

£2,000 one-off payment upon full enrolment to assist with flights, visa, and Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) costs

Eligibility

  • Must be an international student holding a passport from and ordinarily resident or domiciled in one of the following countries:India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt
  • Residency: Applicants must currently reside in their country of passport
  • Funding status: Must be self-funded (no sponsorship or other scholarships)
  • Academic excellence: Applicants must demonstrate grades significantly above minimum entry requirements and show a strong passion for their subject
  • Financial need: Scholarship awarded based on academic merit and evidenced financial need
  • Shortlisted candidates must provide financial evidence by mid-May 2026; incomplete or late submissions will be rejected
