Description

An automatic fee reduction scholarship is available for international Masters students from an eligible country/region.

International Masters Regional Scholarships help to ease the cost of living, allowing you to focus on your education and achieve your potential. They are automatically awarded to eligible students as a fee reduction.

Benefits

When you are offered a place on one of our courses, you will be notified of your scholarship award shortly after you receive a course offer. 

The scholarship is a £6,000 tuition fee discount which will be deducted from your full tuition fee when you register as a student at Leeds.

The scholarship cannot be deferred to a future year.

Eligibility

To be eligible for an International Masters Regional Scholarship you must:

  • be a passport holder from one of the following countries/regions: Egypt, India, Japan, Mexico, Peru, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United States of America or Vietnam;
    • If you hold an eligible passport, but currently live in another country/region, you will be eligible for this scholarship.
    • If you are only domiciled in one of these countries or regions, you will not be eligible for this scholarship.
  • be classified as an international fee-paying student;
  • be self-funded or partially-funded;
  • hold a conditional or unconditional offer for a Masters degree (including MRes) starting in September 2026.

The following Masters courses are not eligible for the International Masters Regional Scholarship:

  • MBA: the MBA currently offers a generous MBA Excellence Scholarships scheme
  • All fully-online courses
  • Law (2 year Graduate Programme) LLB
