The Edward R. Braden Memorial Endowed Scholarship in Criminal Justice was created to support students in the J. Frank Barefield, Jr. Department of Criminal Justice in the College of Arts and Sciences at UAB.

Eligibility

  • To be considered, applicants must be an incoming freshman majoring in Criminal Justice, have at least a 3.0 high school GPA, and be interested in a career in law enforcement. This award is renewable for up to four years if the recipient continues to be a major in Criminal Justice and maintains a 3.0 or higher GPA.
